MASA staff sent out membership renewal information to you this week on Tuesday, May 30. 

If you missed it, look for an email from [email protected] with instructions on how to renew your membership using your email and member-specific password for the 2023-24 school year.

We are here to serve you and would be delighted to provide you with communication support, legal benefits, professional development, professional assistance, mentoring, master classes, and so much more during the next school year. Thanks to the Board of Directors, membership fees remain the same.

EdMN Guidance on Unemployment Insurance and Negotiations:

Here is a link to information EdMN has created for Education Support Professionals, ESPs on how to apply for unemployment insurance and what changes to an ESP’s schedule from the regular school year to summer work might qualify them for unemployment insurance.

“Bargaining Alerts” have also been provided to EdMN members. There are four different documents that might also be helpful for you as you enter into negotiations:

1. Bargaining Alert - Mandatory, Permissive, and Prohibited Subjects of Bargaining (May 2023)
2. Bargaining Alert ECFE and ABE continuing contract protections
3. Bargaining Alert on Considerations for new Tier 1 and preK members in collective bargaining (May 2023)
4. Bargaining Alert on E-Learning (REVISED May 2023)
