Here’s the scoop for the week

MDE Requests Comments on Proposed K-12 Academic Standards in English Language Arts, ELA, and Proposed K-12 Academic Standards in Mathematics:

The comment period for the ELA standards opened on December 28, 2022, and closes at 

4:30 pm on January 26. To provide feedback on the proposed K-12 academic standards in ELA, go to the e-comments system.

The comment period for the rulemaking process for the Proposed K-12 Academic Standards in Mathematics opened on December 28, 2022, and closes at 4:30 pm on February 27, 2023. Comments on the proposed rulemaking process may be submitted to the ecomments system.

Please consider sharing this information with your curriculum leaders and classroom teachers in the affected content areas.
