Have you renewed your membership?

Membership renewal is now open for MASA members.

If you would like to review your member benefits, you can find that information for MASA members at www.mnasa.org/membership-options.

Renewing members received an email from MASA/MASE (via [email protected]) with instructions on how to renew their memberships for 2022-23 on Wednesday, June 29.

As always, if you have questions or need assistance, contact the association offices at [email protected], 651-645-6272.

If you are joining MASA as a new member, go to https://events.resultsathand.com/membership/1676 and select your membership category from the top of the page and complete the registration form.

While you are completing your membership, consider joining MASA's national organization, the American Association of School Administrators (AASA). AASA is a compelling voice for public education in Washington D.C. and provides a variety of valuable member resources for MASA Active members.

• AASA Active – for superintendents (assistant and deputy superintendents are welcome in this category). Members in this category receive all AASA benefits and services, including the Legal Support Program ($1M individual professional liability coverage/up to $20K for job protection defense claims based on continuous years of membership, $500 deductible), a member discount when registering for AASA conferences, advocacy on Capitol Hill, and more!

Renewing your membership -or- joining as a first-time business partner is easy by using our online registration platform for your 2022-23 membership! You can register online at: https://events.resultsathand.com/masa_bp/1693. Simply click on the “membership form tab” on this page and you can arrange and pay for your membership. Each level of partnership and the related benefits are described on the form. Thank you for supporting MASA!

Want to get involved with MASA? Join a committee for 2022-23!

The 2022-23 MASA Committee Sign-up is now available online! If you are interested in serving on one of our MASA committees, please fill out the short survey with your committee interests.

The committee sign-up will close at 4 pm on August 1, 2022.

Each committee has at least 18 members, including two from each of our nine regions. Committee terms are for two years. If you have completed the first year of your term in 2021-22, you will continue on that committee for the second year of your term in 2022-23.

Please refer to the 21-22 MASA Committee list if you are unsure of your current committee standing. Click the black button at the top for the full list.

Nominate today! 2023 Minnesota Superintendent of the Year Award

Nominations are open for the 2023 Minnesota Superintendent of the Year. The recipient of this prestigious award will be a candidate among other state winners for the National Superintendent of the Year. The 2023 AASA National Superintendent of the Year will be announced at the AASA National Conference on Education, February 16–18, 2023 in San Antonio, Texas.

Each candidate for the National Superintendent of the Year Award must first be named by their state association as the State Superintendent of the Year. Full information and criteria can be found online at: www.mnasa.org/superintendent-of-the-year

The nomination deadline is Aug. 1, 2022.
